The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The location of the hotel is spot on overlooking Liberation Square - 1 minute to bus station which we used all the time as getting on at the starting point you always got on - in the summer this is important as further down the route maybe not so lucky. Close to the main shopping area, also right opposite harbour and liberation square which has restaurant, cafes etc. Also inside walkway was a M&S Food and a Matalan - as well as other shops. Rooms not big but had everything in them and super. Cleanliness was very good and they couldn't be more helpful if we wanted anything. Able to securely leave our bags in room at reception when left so we could have day around town before leaving. Breakfast overlooking Liberation Square was excellent - buffet style and great selection. Cafe bistro we used one evening which we were so full afterwards! Ate in Bistro one night which is part of the hotel the food was excellent. Short 15 minutes walk to get the amphibious duck over to Elizabeth Castle which is great fun or wait for low tide to walk over on path to castle. Views from there fabulous. Must visit castle at Gorey Point at climb at least some of the 200 steps for outstanding views. Five mile beach on west coast is a long long stretch of stunning almost deserted beach - worth a drive along and stop at bunker and take photos of bay and visit Jersey Pearl. St Brelades beach is horseshoe shaped so more sheltered and is the most popular swimming beach - surrounded by cafe restaurants toilets etc overlooking beach. Bus pass £35 a week. Well worth it - we used all the time - very very helpful in the bus station as staff full of tourist information and helped us enormously. Used 24 buses all over island. People all so friendly and helpful. Photos are selection from hotel and St Helier to Aubin bay with Elizabeth castle and also St Brelades bay and the view from castle at Gorey Point.

Excellent location- opposite the main bus terminal which meant that you could easily travel around the island. It was also right next to the main shopping area- which also had plenty of great places to eat and drink. The breakfast was superb- we enjoyed the vast array of options- which included both continental, cooked as well as healthy options and plenty of fruit. It was lovely to be seated by the window overlooking the harbour- which we did most mornings. Nothing was too much trouble and I really liked that the room got cleaned everyday with fresh towels. The room was spotlessly clean- and had tea/coffee making facilities and plenty of storage for your clothes. It was great to have plenty of hangers!! The shower was lovely and powerful too. We also thought the bar/restaurant opposite reception was very good and great value for money- with very decent sized portions. The staff were all very friendly and the cakes and cocktails were fabulous!

The room was very spacious, well appointed and very comfortable. The breakfast in the 'Harbour Room' was extremely good. Polite, efficient and happy staff, in a really nice environment, meant we felt, releaxed and well looked after in a pleasant atmosphere. We wanted for nothing given the buffet style breakfast, with too much variety to mention. The hotel was in a great location overlooking Liberty Square and Jersey Harbour beyond.

Hotel was excellent for the 3 weeks I was there. Been going to Jersey for 30 years and first time I have stayed here. Arrived early but managed to check in and get freshened up for the day. Room was quiet and comfortable. The breakfast was what you want fir choice and a bonus for this hotel is that it was at the same time every day. Nice cafe/restaurant in the hotel too and at what I thought were reasonable prices.

Lorne

Great location, walking distance to the town centre shops and restaurants and bus station. The hotel is also opposite the Leisure Complex which includes a fitness centre with swimming pool, cineworld complex and fast food areas. The hotel has a nice cafe/bar area at the front of the hotel.
